Hawke’s Bay Airport, jointly owned by the Crown 50%, Napier City 26% and Hastings District 24%, is situated on State Highway 2 at Westshore, Napier approximately 10 minutes from the Napier CBD and 20 minutes from Hastings. Air New Zealand provides frequent daily direct services, using modern turbo-prop aircraft, to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, with connections for other centres and international destinations, while Sunair has services to Gisborne, Tauranga and Hamilton. Air Napier operates scheduled freight services between Paraparaumu, Palmerston North, Napier, Wairoa and Gisborne, with limited seats available for passengers. Air Chathams operate weekly services to the Chatham Islands on Thursdays.
In the air conditioned Terminal is the Espresso Plus café and gift shop and the major rental car operators, including Avis, Hertz, Budget, Thrifty and Europcar, while Rent a Dent has a depot on the airport ring road. The taxi and shuttle bus ranks are right out side the Terminal near the baggage claim area
There is an ATM in the cafe area and a New Zealand Post mail box outside the Terminal
